Albert and the Cardinals pound Marlins..

After another subpar pitching outing, the Cardinals hitters bailed Jason Marquis out by pounding out hit after hit and scoring double digit runs in the Cardinals 13-6 win over the Marlins Wednesday. Our man Albert went 2-5 with a double, homeruns, and 2 rbi's. Tomorrow is the rubber game between the Cardinals and Marlins with the Fish ace Dontrelle Willis on the mound. Should be a battle between AP and Dontrelle. The Cardinals pushed their lead in the Central division to 3.5 as the Reds are still playing in L.A.

Check out Albert's season numbers and his matchup against Willis on the right hand side!

News Flash: Mulder still stinks..

In such an unexpected twist(not really): MARK MULDER STILL STINKS.. It is time for him to SIT the rest of the season. He is killing the Cardinals. Only able to go an inning and 2/3 in tonight's game against the Marlins, the Cardinals fell 9-1. Our man Albert went 0-3 on the night as the Cardinals were only able to scratch out three hits.

Check out Albert's next opponent and his up to date stats on the right hand column!

Gary, I Wanna be Like Albert, Bennet

Go crazy folks.  What a weekend series in St. Louis.  The Cardinals sweep the Cubs.  Albert went just 2-12 for the series and ended the year batting a horrid .206 against the Cubs.  The hero of the entire series was none other than backup, journeyman catcher, Gary Bennet.  Bennet blasted HR after HR against the Cubs and had both Saturday and Sunday Game Winning RBI's.  Awesome!  Are we running the wrong site?  Anyone up for a GaryBennetClub.com!!!!!!!!  Great weekend.

There was some talk after Saturdays victory that Pujols was "not happy" when Bennet hit the game winning hit.  That's is ludacris.  Just because he might not have been THE first guy out of the dugout on Saturday doesn't mean anything.  Anyone see him on Sunday?  Huge smile.  Huge bear hug to Bennet.  Let's put this issue to rest.  Maybe Pujols and Bennet aren't the best of friends, how could they be after the punch delivered years ago.  But they respect each other as teammates and Pujols wants one thing – to WIN GAMES!

Was an exciting series against the Cubbies and I look for this sweep to ignite and catapult the Cardinals into the post season.

Pujols goes 0 for, Cards win both..

While at Busch Stadium this weekend, we got to see two fantastic baseball games in which our Cardinals came out victorious each time. Unfortunately, Albert was unable to get any hits, he was intentionally walked twice in the two games.

If any of you are coming for the first time, give us a shout out on if you heard about our website from this past weekends games. We are curious as to hear.

Check out Albert's stats and his upcoming matchup on the right hand side.

Albert and the Cards win for APC admins..

As I post this LIVE from Buffalo Wild Wings in O'Fallon, IL, we the admins want to greet all of you out there tonight. We brought the Cardinals the luck they need. Here come the Birds to win the NL Central! Although our main many Albert went 0-4, still an excellent ball game. More will come after Saturday's game!

SWEEP at hands of Mets…

Well, in a battle between the top two teams in the National League, the Mets showed the Cardinals who the BEST team was. The Cardinals were swept in three straight games by the Mets. Our man Albert went 1-4 on Thursday.

Reminder: Both webmasters of this website will be gone to Busch Stadium all day Friday and Saturday. Since we will be gone, we have posted Albert's matchups for both days. We will not have a stats update until late Saturday night or Sunday morning. Let's hope Albert is inspired by the two webmasters and has a big day, and a few Cardinal wins.

Anyone else going to the Friday/Saturday games?  We'd love to meet other APC members so let us know where you are sitting.  We are SRO so will be roaming the stadium!

Make sure to check out the message board, and chat feature on the front page. Thanks

Frustration continues for Albert, Cards..

With a chance to capitalize on a rare Houston Astro win over the Reds, the Cardinals were not able to, as they fell to the New York Mets 10-8 on Wednesday . Our man Albert went 2-5, with 2 more rbi's, pushing him even closer to the leader, Ryan Howard. Albert is now in the top three in all three offensive categories.

The Cardinals are now only 7 games above .500 with 37 games to go, and more importantly only lead the second place Reds by 1 game.

Tomorrow Albert faces Dave Williams, a guy he is hitting .1000 against on the season. Time for Albert to literally carry the Cardinals on his back and get a "W" tomorrow in the big Apple.
