An article earlier at STLtoday discussed how the Cardinals will handle Albert Pujols this spring. They will most likely implement the “Pujols Rules” which will limit his at bats and activity on the field to keep that elbow healthy. Pujols repeatedly has said the sprained ligament in his elbow is not a problem, now. La Russa has said Pujols is “one tweak away” from trouble. I tend to agree with the Cardinals approach here. You need this guy! Albert – stay healthy! Limit your at bats – and be ready to roll for the season. Take a few games off here or there to keep it strong and fresh!

I found this funny. Pujols wasn’t concerned about Tony returning. Only about his injury. Check it out.

Funny to imagine these two being “veterans”, but they are. Read this great piece on that topic.

Proving the claims that our guy Albert Pujols is just a good guy all around, Albert Pujols and St. Louis Channel 2 made peace on Saturday in Jupiter. Albert boycotted Channel 2 after they wanted to conduct an erroneous interview about Albert’s name appearing on the Mitchell Report. Now go smash the baseball in 2008 Albert!

The official Cardinals website lists out the fantasy value of the current Cardinals players. Yours truly, Albert Pujols, heads up this list by a landslide.
