Albert’s old teammate re-signs..

Well the Cardinals re-signed a pitcher. The one that most Cardinal fans did NOT want to re-sign out of all the starting pitchers the Cardinals had in their 06 World Series run, the Cardinals DID sign on Wednesday.

Mark Mulder signed with the Cardinals for a 2 year, 13 million dollar contract. This deal was also loaded with incentives that say if Mulder gets 30 starts in both 07 and 08 the deal could be worth as much as 45 million dollars.

This deal now makes it official. Albert Pujols will NOT have to be the 4th starting pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals.
