Wednesday was a rare off day for the MVP. Albert did not play against the Rockies, but the Cardinals behind a nice outing from Jeff Suppan and offense from powers such as Gary Bennett, Aaron Miles, and Jeff Suppan won their second straight, 6-1. The Cardinals are now 5-1 on the 10 game road trip. On Thursday, the Cardinals will be in Wrigley Field to play the Cubs for four. Like every other year, this series is the Chicago Cubs "World Series". I mean, honestly, they are 23 games under .500, 19 games out of first, and only 3.5 out of last place. This happens every year. The Cubs and their fans get more excited for these games, and this series then any other time of the year. Albert will get to feast on some young meat the first two games as the Cubs throw rookies Rich Hill, and Carlos Marmol before letting father time, Greg Maddux, and finishing the series on sunday with Carlos Zam-no-braino. Check out the Albert's season stats in the column on the right, along with the matchup for Thursday's games, and continue to check back all weekend for up to the minute matchups for Jose Alberto Pujols on his quest for the triple crown. I look for Albert to have a huge weekend in the Windy City!
