Now that Albert Pujols has moved on to the Angels what does this do for Fantasy baseball leagues ? I don’t think it does much. Considering Matt Kemp should be the first player taken in almost every fantasy baseball draft (including the ones in California). Most veteran players recognize Albert’s move to the Angels considers him a safe pick in this years fantasy draft. This is an opportunity for some fantasy members to take players like Matt Kemp in the 2nd and 3rd pick selection as many will select Albert in the number 1 spot based on the attention he has received going to Los Angeles.
Here is my selection in order on who you should select first in this years fantasy draft.
A wise fantasy first round selection ? We think so....
1. Matt Kemp
2. Adrian Gonzalez
3. Miguel Cabrera
4. Albert Pujols
5. Troy Tulowitzki
Each year there is a surprising selection in the draft that does well and maybe we are wrong about Albert. We would like to see him finish the year up top for most points in the league and there is that possibility. Whoever you decide to choose as your first pick this year we suggest doing more research on the players you like but I can tell you with the list above you cannot go wrong. Good luck
