Pujols is a natural middle infielder

by admin on April 23, 2008

So how odd did it look last night with Albert at second base?  This was not a planned thing. When Izturis got hurt in the ninth, they were force to make some changes.  Pujols is the most versatile of the group and moved to 2B with Larue going to 1B.  Just think fantasy owners, 14 more games there and he qualifies at 2B  :)

He made a routine play at 2B to end the inning as well.  It does look a bit strange having such a massive guy in the middle infield.
