Pujols/Cardinals set to take on Moehler/Astros
Albert Pujols and his wildcard leading St. Louis Cardinals are set to take on the Central Division rivals Houston Astros this weekend. In the first game of the three game set the Cardinals will take on righhander Brian Moehler.
Pujols is 6-9, for a .666 career batting average against Moehler. In those six at bats, three have left the park, and another was a double. He has also walked twice, not striking out ever against Moehler.
In Albert’s career against the Astros, in 126 games, he is 148-462 for a .320 average. He has hit 33 homeruns, driving in 79 runs. Remarkably Albert has walked 73 times and only struck out 53 times.
With Albert being questionable for tonight, once Tony looks at his career numbers, I have a feel El Hombre will be in the lineup tonight!
